Oscar de la Renta Spring 2016

I was honored to be invited to attend the preview of Oscar de la Renta's Spring 2016 bridal collection just a few weeks ago. I was absolutely devastated that I couldn't make it, but was lucky enough to be sent some absolutely incredible photos of the collection by their fabulous team that I can't wait to share with you!

Designer Peter Copping debuted his first bridal collection for Oscar de la Renta making this a very special, and bittersweet, affair. Mr. de la Renta’s innate sense of romance and glamour was preserved within this collection. From luscious tulle to whimsical organza, there were plenty of magical textures waltzing down the runway. Modern silhouettes and shimmering sequins also made an appearance, as did a convertible gown! Elegant bustier tops and organic tiered layers were a highlight of this modern, yet timeless collection.

Copping did a wonderful job of incorporating his own creativity into a renown wedding line that will live forever in the hearts of brides and fashionistas alike. His collection celebrated Oscar’s legacy and allowed it to live on in a fresh, beautiful way.

Laura started Lola Louie Paperie just last year while planning her own wedding. She began with envelope liners because, "I couldn't find anything out there I liked! Paper goods have always been a passion of mine so I extended the product line to include wedding invitations, save the dates, baby shower invitations, etc. (all with lined envelopes, of course)!" 

Laura considers her aesthetic to be, “'careful carelessness', a blend of bohemian and vintage styles with a modern and simplistic touch. I shy away from anything too formal or stuffy in an effort to provide perfectly mismatched paper goods. I love gold foil and anything in watercolor!" TSO Spotlight: Willow Grace Bridal

One of the biggest trends in weddings today is personalization. There are so many wonderful ways to add unique touches to your special day. These custom hangers from Willow Grace Bridal on Etsy are one of the ways I've chosen to customize mine! From her vast amount of options to the quality of her designs, I knew I had to give these to my girls. 

Not only did I love the fact that Founder, Rhonda was willing to work with me to create individualized pieces, but I loved her creativity.
