Our sweet, strong, smart, beautiful baby girl has arrived and we couldn’t be more in love. Sorry for being MIA here on the blog these past few months but we’re soaking in every moment with our baby girl. In honor of her arrival, we wanted to share some photos of her nursery with all of you.

We selected items that were a mix of highs and lows but did our best to choose things that were functional and affordable yet stylish. The palette for the room was a mix of creams, grays, whites, and hints of gold and warm pinks (we’ve since swapped out the diaper cart for white instead of rose gold).

I researched pretty much every piece from the wipe-clean changing pad by Skip Hop to the Babyletto Lolly 3-in-1 convertible crib to find reputable pieces that would last. It’s so tempting to purchase super trendy pieces or things that are really beautiful but you can only use for the first few weeks. It was important to us to save our money for the things she’ll really need and for her future so we set a tight budget and were careful about every piece we chose.

Many of the items we purchased were from Amazon, Target, and buybuy BABY. We also found a few decorative pieces on Etsy (like our mobile) and repurposed some things we already had (including some art work by Inslee).

We hope our baby girl loves her room. It’s such a special place that I dreamed of for so long. Hope you enjoy this peek into her sweet little space!
