Closet Envy

Every once in a while I come across an image of a closet that I truly admire. It takes me back to a place of make-believe where I try to imagine what the person who owns that closet must be like. I imagine where they go in these clothes and it's like being a kid again. ​

I guess you could say "the closet is a window into the soul", as it gives you a peek into someone's world. Their style and their outfits tell you a story and give you a peek into a part of who they are and how they express themselves.

​Now, this closet is a bit more glamorous than most of ours, but isn't it stunning? What does your dream closet look like?

​While I worked at Vera Wang, my closet could sometimes look like that of someone in mourning. From left to right, top to bottom it was black... and maybe a few shades of grey and a dusting of smokey Swarovski crystals.

​I now try to incorporate more color and bolder prints. It's definitely fun to play with color, but at the end of the day, a little black dress (LBD) will always be a staple piece for me.
